Bad clip, bad company

Christopher V.

I have 2 of these knives. The pocket clip broke on both of them. Real Steel is absolutely miserable to try to communicate with. The contact form on their website doesn’t work, they don’t respond on Facebook or Instagram, there’s no other way to contact them. I’ve searched for hours looking for replacement clips, even contacted distributors including BladeHQ as they say to read more do on the Real Steel website and no one has them. The way the clip is designed and connected to the knife make it very very difficult to modify a different clip or fabricate one of my own without heavily modifying the handle. This is a good knife, I’ve put it through a lot with the type of work I do. The blade is really nice even though it’s just sandvik. When it’s broken in the action is smooth and I can wrist flick it open. The size and weight are a little high but it’s not too noticeable while carrying but really helps with handling during use. I would say I’m most proficient with this knife over all the others I have. It’s really sad that I can’t carry it anymore because of a cheap piece of metal that is impossible to replace.
