-First real flipper of mine-

This is written from the perspective of someone whose only other knife is a Ka-bar. Even when sat next to the Ka-bar, the P 121 is quite hefty- seemingly massive even, to those who aren't accustomed to larger knives. I bought this knife because I couldn't carry a foot long fixed blade to work, and I'm pleasantly surprised. At a 40 USD and under pricepoint, this is quite the steal. read more A sharp edge, a solid stabbing point, and a sturdy lockup with little play make this a great companion for my Ka-bar on a daily basis. Quite the aesthetically pleasing design too, if you've got an eye for those types of things. Reminiscent of Japanese blades if I had to make a comparison.

It's worth noting that if wearing even slightly tailored jeans, you will absolutely feel the knife digging into your leg. This knife has notable heft to it, something I value- but can also play against you if remaining seated for longer periods of time. Overall, this product has earned all 5 stars to which I've assigned it.

Amazing knife!

Sleek but beefy. Perfect centering. Amazing lockup. Razor sharp out of the box. Buttery smooth flipper action. Deep carry pocket clip. Nice steel. For the price you should own this and the Fang. As much as I luv my Civivi's, I'm digging Ruike a bit more.

Solid value

The P121 Hussar is a solid knife! G10 is wide and grippy. The steel liners, although skeletonised, are beefy. Overall thick and heavy. The 14c28n steel blade is a decent steel and a useful enough shape. I may someday grind down the upturned tip for a more traditional point. The blade was amazing sharp out of the box! Very impressive mirror polished sharpening. The un-assisted flipping read more action is great! Like unprecedented at this price point great! -A bit thick and heavy to carry, but solid overall, the Hussar is a steal at this price.
