LOCKBAR SNAPPED!

David M.

in totally normal use, heck I didn't even use it all that much, and the lockbar just SNAPPED and fell out, the knife almost lopped off a bit of one of my fingers as it fell shut before i noticed the bar was loose! Unacceptable quality and safety issue, especially for 40 bucks. anything over 20 should at least be constructed well, get that right before you go wasting manufacturing read more budget on fancier steels!

Great knife

I can’t believe all the knife snobs. This is a great little knife. Built like a tank. I wish Ruike would build a bigger one with a little looser detent, so the front flipper aspect would work better. Currently, the knife is just too small. Otherwise, this is a perfect little pocket tool.

Not great

So the detent is way too strong for a front flipper. Also, the action is so sticky and gritty that when I'm finally able to break the detent it won't fully deploy. Very disappointed in this knife.

Front flipper on a budget

This is my second Ruike, I also have the P801 which is a better knife. The handle on this a bit thick as is the blade. I disliked the thumbstud so I removed it. The action is good though and it's a great first front flipper for the price. If you want to try out a front flipper I'd recommend it otherwise it's a pass.
