This Trident AT-XR has a black handle with red accents and a black clip point blade.Based off the popular Trident MODel, the Trident Mk3 is a tough tactical knife designed to be quick to the hand in emergency situations. It's made of cryogenically heat tReated D2 steel, and it features a tungsten carbide glass breaker on the front and an integrated seat belt cutter. Too much for what it is
I had issues with needing lots of pressure on the studs to get this knife to deploy. After a ton of actuations it's smoother finally and deploys well. It's the small details that put me off on this one; plastic hardware and thumb studs that either catch or do not place pressure evenly, pressure against the back skull crusher into your hand on deployment, and unfortunately now side…

to side play on the blade. I put moderate (not hard) pressure against the side of the blade with my thumb and the knife has opened up slightly and that play is now in the action.
It's a great looking knife, incredibly sharp, and assisted action is bad-ass..
Big bad slicer!
This knife is big and intimidating, as far as folders go. It opens with ferocity and confidence. The AT-X lock is pretty cool, although I kind of wish the slider and thumb studs were made of metal instead of plastic.Other than that, the texture under the pocket clip is super rough, meaning it's gonna tear up my pants quickly. digs into my hand severely. I get the feeling this thing was made for people with bigger hands.
It's not very practical, but it's a fun knife. It makes people gasp when you deploy it, and it's really badass. I might pass it on to someone who gets more of a kick out of it than I do.
