About Spyderco Chicago
Laws. Whether necessary, good or just nutty, theyre intended to establish order and ward-off chaos. When our government and society implement rules we do our best to live within their parameters. As an example, many U.S. metropolitan cities draw the line for carrying pocketKnives in public to those with blades two inches in length or under. Welcome to Chicago! If I were a Chicagoan and carried a pocketknife regularly, I might be inclined (as a law abiding citizen) to carry a tool falling under this citys restriction. The Spyderco C130 Chicago is just that. Two inches of flat ground CTS-BD1N blade urbanely outfitted with G-10 handle scales and Michael Walker LinerLock. Its leaf-like shaped blade effectively cuts everything across the board (including the board) from significant strenuous cuts like carpet and poly rope to something as innocuous as fingernail cleaning or scraping tape off of glass.A deep pocket clip burrows the knife down into a pants pocket with the tip facing up and screws on both sides of the handle for left/right-hand positioning. This one is for Chicagoans or anyone looking for a city/suit knife.

Bought as a gift, they may not get it.
Bought this as a gift for my BiL, he may not end up getting it after all. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this knife, especially at sub 60 dollars. Centered, sharp, well built.
Excellent, if not the best small blade!
To start how much I love this knife, I own 3 of them (original with 440C and 2 with the new steel). Design and ergos are fantastic because despite its small size, it feels like a larger blade and it extremely controllable when it comes to making precise cutting. The wire clip is great because it blends in with the jeans while it still holds onto the fabric tight, and it doesn't… read more produce a hot spot. I use this blade as my main EDC for work because people do not get scared by it. Then, I switch to larger EDC blades for the weekends when I am not working.
I like it
Perfect little knife just like all my other SPydercos solid lockup no blade Smooth blade deployment. Just a side note the blade says it’s bd1 steel not 440c almost perfect but when blade is closed it’s a little off center
Great little edc knife
Great little edc knife I live in Chicago so I was looking for something I could carry with me that's legal so I bought this and carry it with me everywhere I go!
