I really like it!

I've carried a Spyderco Persistence for a while and because it actually held up better than I expected, I thought id give the Efficient a try because I wanted something smaller and less "scary". To no surprise, it was great. You cant really go wrong at the pricepoint. The blade material isnt the best, but it works for my daily tasks, like cutting tape, and breaking down box's to read more cutting thread, and on the occasion to scrape something. I dont have to sharpen it as much as I expected. The open and close is very smooth and the ergos are good for my tasks. Thanks bladehq.

Better than expected

Admittedly, I don't have a ton of experience with Spydercos, so I can't really speak to their higher end stuff. I like it, especially at the price that it is. I feel like it's on par or better than other knives in the price range. Decent pocket clip too!

Great knife for the price

I love my Efficient it’s a great size for EDC, has a nice weight, and feels great in hand. The G10 is great too. I go to this knife more than other larger more expensive knives because I like it so much.

I don't like it

Have you ever wanted a Spyderco knife with none of the Spyderco flare? None of the attention to detail? Look no further than this one.

Everything screams budget on this knife, from the uneven blade sharpness, the uncentered blade while it's between the scales, the difficulty to open the blade, that half click before the blade completely deploys. Scales are okay. Lanyard hole read more works.

I love budget knives, but a budget knife dosen't mean bad knife. This knife might be a bad knife. For ~$50 I would consider other options.

Good Alternative

The Efficient is a solid choice if you want a Spyderco Para style knife without breaking the bank. I picked one up to keep in the car and it made it into my EDC rotation. Feels good in the hand and came razor sharp. It’s Spyderco quality at reasonable price, plus I think it looks cool.

4 out of 5 stars

A really great knife. Out of the box, it comes "hair shaving" sharp. Opens and closes smoothly. Great knife for its price range, $40 - $65. My knife's blade was not centered, so it was given a couple scratches when opening and closing. I would recommend this to everybody.

Even with big hands

I have big hands and small knives suck. I'm starting my knife collection and handled an Endura and a Delica. The Efficient was, by far, the most comfortable knife to handle, open, and carry. Very nice knife to play with. Also, the fit and finish are flawless. The stainless steel liner and frame are elegant and the blade is dead nuts centered. Great EDC.

Ive been carrying this knife for a few weeks and its great. I will definitely buy another. Especially now, since my son has "borrowed" this one.

I've been carrying this knife around for a while and it has came to my attention that this is a little incredible knife. The action on this knife is incredibly smooth and elegant. The lock is firm and secure and it feels solid. Even compared to the other Spydercos that I have this knife has really took the cake.
Great knife and I love it!

Good price, good steel, and really comfortable! I was really impressed with the fit and finish. The lockup is close to 100% without having to wrist flick it! Very smooth and sturdy build.

WARNING,,, whenever closing the blade it rests on the back spacer which folded my edge so be careful when closing the knife
