Its full-flat-ground 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is available with a choice of PlainEdge or a partially serrated CombinationEdge and is supported by skeletonized stainless steel liners, a stainless steel backspacer, a sturdy LinerLock mechanism, and textured G-10 scales. To allow discreet, tip-up carry, it also features a black-coated deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for left or right-handed users.

First Spyderco with serrations.
Bought a few days ago, my dumb brain had the
idea to graze the serrations with my finger.
Bad idea. Razor sharp. The ergos are
incredible, and after lubing it and breaking it in, the action is buttery smooth. The
8CR13MOV steel is fine, it IS a budget
steel. All in all, a good knife for a good
price.

There is smooth opening and solid lock-up. This is a good entry level Spyderco!
