A longstanding bestseller and the smallest locking folder in the Spyderco family, is the Ladybug. You are veiwing a variant of the standard Ladybug with an H-1 steel HawkBill Blade, congratulations.H-1 folders and fixed blades are a collection of water-friendly Knives Spyderco calls their Salt Series. As part of this series the Ladybug 3 Salt Hawkbill uses H-1 which is a nitrogen-based blade alloy rather than carbon-based. The elimination of carbon in the steel renders it one-hundred percent rust proof but like its carbon-steel cousins, H-1 takes a hard sharpened cutting edge and earns high marks for edge retention.Similar to an extended CAT's claw the blade wraps around what you're cutting, functionally drawing the cut object in closer and in continuous contact with the sharp edge while the curved hook restrains material from sliding off/away from the blade. The H-1 hollow ground blade is a SpyderEdge configuration. The Hawkbill shape metamorphosis a keychain-sized folder into an impressive cutting tool.Its lightweight FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle is molded with Bi-Directional Texturing which resists slipping in the hand and is high-visibility Marine Yellow making it easily spotted on the ground or in water. The Ladybug Hawkbill Salt is clip-less with a lanyard hole for threading through a thong or key-ring.

The best small knife
I thought the spyderco ladybug was kind of gimmicky at first, then I decided to try one, wow I was wrong this is probably the best small knife on the market. I can actually use it from cutting tasks such as cutting rope and webbing. I even tested it on a seatbelt cut through it easily. Very impressive. Highly recommend if this is the kind of knife your are looking for.
Backpacking knife
Great backpacking knife it weights 17 grams rust proof and its yellow makes it easy to find in a pack.
Perfect little knife
This is the perfect little knife to put in your purse or tight jeans pocket. I got one for myself (woman) and my mother and we both love it. It was just what I've been looking for for years. Keep in mind that this knife is really little so it won't be for everyone.
Tiny fishing-ready blade
Bought for a friend of mine as a gift. He likes to go fishing, hope blade would serve him well, taking into consideration H1 steel and Spyderco brand.
It is tiny, though, like a car key or even smaller.
Tiny Beach knife
I bought this to keep in my beach kit for when I go boogie boarding or surfing.
Wanted the rust proof quality of the H-1 steel in a small knife.
I like the compactness, but at times it does seem exceptionally small and I fear I might lose it at some point.

Great compact knife!
I purchased this knife years ago and absolutely love it! Compact size and weight make it very easy to pocket carry, or even add to a set of keys. Mine has found a permanent home in my range bag as a backup to whatever EDC knife I have that day. The H1 blade steel makes it perfect for all weather outdoor adventures and has great edge retention.
Great Little Knife
I carry it as a small backup. It's small, light weight, and I forget I even have it most of the time. The action is smooth, too.
Blown away
You can get serious grip on this tiny knife. It's super solid and nearly weightless. I'm actually shocked by how good it feels in hand. This thing can handle your EDC needs and then some no problem.
