Designed by noted German knifemaker Ulrich Hennicke, the Opus is a versatile, all-purpose folding knife that harmoniously balances Hennickes distinctive personal design style and Spydercos unmistakably classic lines. Its broad, PlainEdge blade is crafted from premium CPM S30V particle metallurgy stainless steel and features a full-flat grind that offers both strength and low-friction cutting performance. The blades oversized Trademark Round Hole is fully accessible with either hand and allows quick, positive one-handed opening. An impressive blend of style and function, the handles advanced Ergonomic design and textured G-10 scales support a variety of grip styles and ensure superior control and comfort, even during prolonged use. Its open-backed construction and skeletonized full stainless steel liners keep the knifes weight to a minimum while providing a sturdy foundation for the high-strength LinerLock mechanism. To allow convenient carry and keep the knife poised for immediate access, the Opus features a four-position hourglass clip that supports both left and right-side tip-up and tip-down carry.
