Solid knife with s35vn tempered properly
This Spyderco knife is well made with great lockup and the blade is perfectly centered. It has phosphor bronze washers instead of the teflon commonly used in many Chinese made knives. It fits my hand like a glove, and has a flat ground blade with a long cutting edge that really slices well. When I disassembled it I found blue loctite on all the screws. The best part is the s35vn… read more blade. It's tempered hard, and takes and holds a razor edge better than other brands that I own in the same steel. Spyderco knows how to temper steel, and I understand the factory that built this bought a new oven to temper their blades, and that Spyderco has spent a lot of time working with them to get it right. I am not a fan of the Chinese government, so this is my first knife from China, but I have to say that I AM a fan of Spyderco, and this knife has all the quality that Spyderco is known for. So for a solid well made knife in a great steel done properly for under a hundred bucks, look no further.
