Great knife at a great price

First off the handle is not G-10 like my receipt and this review shows. It's a rather cartoonish looking FRN but I knew that going in. I bought it for the shape, the blade steel, and how it feels in the hand. All great. It's a slip joint so no lock but it does not need one. If held right and used for the right purpose there's no danger if this closing up on you. It's old school read more meet Spyderco signature looks. They nailed it.

I haven't had a lot of time to use this knife but so far so good. It is easy to open and close one-handed, the lock and frame are sturdy for a non-locking knife (little to no blade play), and it is very lite with a nice wire pocket clip. I look forward to carrying it on my next backpacking trip to Scotland with the wife.
