Versatile Fixed Blade of Outstanding Materials
The fit and finish is superb. The diamond pattern cut into the G-10 slabs is so grippy that it allows for an excellent grasp on the unusually thin handle. Spyderco has been able to execute it such that one's hand does not become irritated in hard use. The LC200N is hardened to above Rockwell 60 while retaining good toughness and edge retention. In my experience, it has not chipped but the edge has rolled under hard impact ... Easy to fix in five minutes with a stone. This is a great knife for fishing or diving, and can easily double as a hunting knife or for woodcraft. The blade requires nearly zero maintenance, except for occasional sharpening, as with any other knife. The fine tip is somewhat delicate, which makes it useful for fine work but requires one to be exercise care. All-in-all, I heartily recommend this unique knife.
