Absolute Masterpiece.

The blade came sharp enough to shave hair as well as my razor. It was perfectly centered, and came in a 2 knife pouch. the rings play with the light, creating a super cool effect. It swings open with a super satisfying feel and sound. And when I ordered, I asked for a drawing of a duck, and received a fantastic picture, not just a doodle. It's currently hanging on my fridge. 10/10, would buy again.

Oh you fancy huh?

I originally bought this knife to wear at my wedding which got cancelled due to covid. Still ended up with a greta knife and a great wife!

This is an EDC you can wear to a nice dinner or out for a fu night. I consider it the "slicer" of my collection because of the slimness of the whole knife and the blade specifically. My 1st WE

A knife isn't really yours till you cut yourself and oh boy did I ever. I love the look of the knife which is why I got it initially. It quickly became my favorite knife in my collection. The handle has a good texture/grip to it despite being super smooth. At first I had a hard time opening the knife because I would be holing the lock bar. The only thing I wish is that the clip was recessed but that's pretty little. It came so sharp that long story short I cut about a 1/2 inch pad off my finger tip.

Perfect for me.

This knife is just what I have been looking for. I'm not a big WE knife fan because of the styling. This is classy, great action, good size, satisfying snap, light, thin and so slicey! The flipper tab jimping is a little aggressive but not a big deal. If you are looking for a hard use blade this is not it. If like a thin daily use blade this is it!

One sided knife

I loved the look and size of this knife so I bought it based on a single picture on the BladeHQ site. When it arrived I was unhappy to find that the back (unpictured) side of the knife was a plain matte black.

I never buy knifes that look great on one side only and look terrible on the other. They just seem unbalanced to me. The back side always seems like a poor afterthought.

Amazing EDC knife!

This knife is beautiful, has a great blade shape, very sharp, and well manufactured. It is a little smaller than I had expected, but I also hardly notice it in the pocket. This is also a little more affordable than most WE knives, a great one to check out this company if you have hesitated. I own 5 or 6 of their knives. Potential instant classic, held back by clip issues

I've had two Kitefins -- one marbled CF and one blue Ti -- for a couple weeks now, and am updating my earlier reviews.

For both versions, the fit and finish are excellent in typical WE style, and they both have great ergonomics. These knives are small and light, just about perfect for EDC (with one caveat below). The edges were shaving sharp out the box and well ground.… read more

The actions... well, they are snappy to open, but were not as smooth out of the box as most WEs and Civivis. The marble CF broke in beautifully with a little tuning of the pivot and some lube. But the blue one for whatever reason I can't get as smooth without loosening the pivot enough to de-center the blade.

Both models lock up reliably every time, and only fail to open all the way if I deliberately flip them weakly.

Apart from the action being not butter-smooth out of the box, my only other issue is the clip. The flamed titanium looks awesome, and I love the (theoretical) deep carry, but the inner curve of the clip where it attaches to the knife catches on the edge of my pocket (jeans) every time. I wish they had either recessed it into the handle or used slightly thinner stock. It's so difficult to get it fully down to the deepest carry position (and so likely to tear up your pocket edge over time) that I've stopped trying to push it all the way down, effectively making this a non-deep-carry clip. It's a shame, because the clips look great.

Still, at this price point, I'm overall very happy with the purchase.
