My favorite WE knife
I've tried many WE knives, most of which have been sold, but this one will never be sold. Something truly special about this one. WE makes good knives, but I think it's the SNECX design that sets this apart from other knives. I'm a huge fan of industrial design, clean lines, and symmetry. This thing ticks a lot of boxes in the design part for me. I've always liked WE's black titanium…

with bronze hardware but this subtle antique bronze finish takes it to a whole new level I wasn't expecting. It looks so futuristic and somewhat apocalyptic at the same time. I've also recently been interested in cyberpunk and blade runner so this mini buster and the grey version really gives off those vibes. Aside from the amazing aesthetics, one design choice I really liked was that the blade spine is straight, it sits parallel to the other lines on the blade, there's no weird grooves, humps, its just straight. It can sit on the table, in the closed position, balanced on the spine of the blade. The only other knife in my collection that can do this is my arcform slimfoot.
Action is superb, some of the best from WE, but feels different than the other WE knives, feels better, can't explain it, or maybe it's because of the weight of the blade.
Super sharp out the box, perfect grind, perfect centering, rock solid lockup.
This thing is sitting in my "do not sell" collection, right next to the Veros and SBD. I can't wait til WE releases the Vision by snecx, I can already tell I'm going to love it.
Big and beautiful
This thing is beef but still feels usable. Takes up a fair amount of pocket space but once you get used to it, it's a great knife
Perfectly Beautiful and Functional
I don't know where to start the gushing...as a knife enthusiast, I often find myself seeking ever-better features and capabilities to satisfy physical and artistic senses. As such I can get caught up wanting a better blade steel, lighter and stronger handle materials, smoother action, nice ergos, etc. This knife has satisfied that itch as the closest-to-perfect knife.

Design = beautiful, functional, and symmetrical everywhere possible;
Weight = very satisfactory with internal milling everywhere without compromising structural integrity - word has it Snecx designed the original custom to be able to chop a coconut;
Ergonomics = not quite ZT0562 in my med-large hand but darn good, and chamferred everywhere;
Materials = can't go wrong with titanium and 20CV, and no T6 screws here!;
Aesthetics = gorgeous, great use of bronze annodizing and worn blackwash (glad I chose the black, because I originally had the grey in my cart);
Fit and Finish = WE Knives does more than flex here - this is a full on-stage pose down of production prowess!;
Safety = Yes...safety. Given the blade shape only makes sense as a sheepsfoot, the backspacer is full-length-of-blade, flow-through, and has a blade channel cutout to prevent having to protrude the backspacer any more than necessary. You cannot find a way in to cut yourself in the closed position;
Pocket Clip = great ramp, great tension, and as deep carry as could be (given the angles of fitment);
Action and Return = forget Spyderco and Benchmade drop-shutty (though I love those and have plenty of them)...you literally "want to feel" the most perfect detent-ball-against blade that might have ever been made in a production knife! I was handing this to my wife and kids and saying, "Try this." Every one of them, "Whoooooooaaa...". It is like my ZT's, but even smoother.
Cons:
No love for 10% of the population (lefties), but when you look at the design you see why. Also, I do as much pull cutting as push cutting and the sharp tip of the pocket clip pokes a bit on the middle finger...but that's nitpicking of the highest order.
Final thoughts: If I could choose a "hobbyist" and a knifemaker to collaborate on a design, it would be Snecx Tan and Lucas Burnley. Combine the exacting mechanized precision of Tan with Burnley's ability to design functional tools in a "humanly-connecting" way and lookout! Oh yeah, and I'd have WE Knives and ZT collaborate to produce 50,000 of them so we don't have to suffer the pangs of out-of-stock banners. I can imagine a massive number of Blade HQ youtube subscribers saving up for a year to get one of these grails. It is worth every penny!
