Quality you can feel

I was actually given this knife as a gift because I had quite a few ZTs’ already. I use it everyday at my job (Auto Mechanic) doing all the usual cutting tasks, (wires, opening boxes, zip ties, etc). Has stood up tremendously well. After 5-6 months of use u can’t even tell any wear on the blade thanks to the Blade finish. The 20CV cuts very well. The liners are pretty thick. read more Been dropped off the lifts and ran over multiple times. Almost no wear outside the pocket clip which is very scratched up lol. Very impressed and will probably buy another 1 or 2 more. I know 20CV with Steel liners and G10 isn’t exotic like shred CF or full titanium, but I would highly recommend this for hard use folks!!

Awesome assisted mechanism and great looking blade finish

This was the first folding knife I ever bought. I got some others since and I still think this ZT is something special. It looks great - especially the blade finish - and cuts extremely well. The price is kind of a bargain for a knife of this caliber with CPM-20CV steel and G10 handle. I particularly love the assisted opening. The blade just explodes out of the handle when you use read more the thumb flipper. It is a little bit on the heavier side and it feels solid and comfortable in the hand. Great knife whether it's your first or your last. By the way, I used this as my EDC for several months until I got a Benchmade Bugout. It is a bit large but comfortable in the pocket and works great as an EDC.

Needs purpose

This is a great example of using top quality materials (CPM20 steel), great workmanship (no complaints), prestigious brand with a hefty price tag and to what end? This knife needs a purpose: it is not a slicer (coated blade makes sure of it), a bit bulky and heavy for an edc (in my opinion); not a quick to open/close (my Spyderco is much more responsive); not that great for wood read more work (flat grind not too conducive);
It passes a paper test with flying colors and is great for opening letters, not sure what I'd use it for.

ZT Rocks

I could never afford a ZT knife but the 0357 was one I could afford. I am a daily knife user, and this should handle the abuse. Built very tough, my only complaint would be the pocket clip is kinda tight with 2 screws that will eat my pants pocket.
