One of the best

I own and have owned quite a few flippers, several ZT's included. This one is right up there with Reate and WE. Finally, a Ti knife that isn't a brick. The pocket clip is subpar though. Creates a hot spot and feels flimsy. I've got a deep carry clip for it inbound. Hopefully that helps. Otherwise, I love this knife!

Zero Tolerance Sinkevich 0470 Flipper Knife Marbled CF (3.4" Satin) ZT

VERY nice knife! silky smooth action and easy to flip open. great blade and very light weight. blade is sufficient for some self defense use, but small & light enough for office carry. it is now my favorite mid-size pocket folder.

Excellent

When I first got the knife I was able to flip it open 4 times and it was very smooth. But that was it, I couldn't open it using the flipper and had to do it manually.

So after many attempts, I then loosen up the bearing a little & added a few drops of good "friction" oil. After working the oil in good, it then began to work very smooth.

Now I can open it will very read more little effort and even using my left hand it works very well.

This is now my 3rd Sinkevich designed knife and I like them all.

Very Impressed

This is my first ZT knife and so far I am very satisfied with my purchase. I love the contrast of the black and silver and the marbled carbon fiber looks amazing. It's a sharp looking knife (no pun intended). I was also very impressed with the fit and the smoothness of the action. The knife just feels like quality in your hands.

Nice Blade

A little light, I like to feel the weight a bit more and an opening assist would be great, but it's a beautiful blade, not as difficult to sharpen as the steel would suggest and it works in a suit and in jeans.

Beautifully Machined.

This knife is the best ZT available IMO. It is internally milled and contoured with marble CF for less than $300! The steel is great and the ergonomics are good.My only gripe is that the knife pivot is free spinning on mine and I have to put torsion on the blade to stop it from spinning.

The perfect size knive

This is absolutely the perfect knife. The materials are fantastic and the size and ergonomics are just phenomenal. This has become my EDC for the past 2 weeks and will probably stay there for a while.

Couldn't ask for more

I have had this blade for several months and love it. The size of the blade and handle are just right, and thin enough to fit nicely in pocket. The grind was perfect from factory and have not had to sharpen it yet, this blade is sharp and hold its edge so nicely. The lockup is solid, satisfying, and has no play whatsoever. As for the looks all I can say is they hit the mark perfectly read more with the refined beauty of this knife.

The ZT you can carry

I love ZT knives, but inevitably the models I like are too heavy or too 'scary' looking to carry to my office job. Enter the 0470. It may be a ZT revision of the Kershaw Atmos but it is excellently executed. The knife feels premium, has excellent ergonomics and beautiful details. The weight is pocketable in slacks while the blade isn't too 'murdery' looking. It will not end my knife read more addiction, but I'm very happy to have this blade in my collection.

Easy Favorite

I know people have different opinions over what is expensive and what isn't, but to date, this is probably the most expensive knife I've purchased, and it is my favorite. Fit and finish are perfect, centering is perfect, and it's incredibly smooth. Can't get over the design with the CF inserts.

THE one!

My search for the right edc for me is over. Design, materials, fit, finish, and that smooth as silk ZT action......well done, ZT!

Blade HQ Rules!!!

I never had a knife over 40 dollars and Blade HQ rules. I would greatly appreciate it if my rulers at Blade HQ sent me any free knife.

Great, comfortable design

The moment I held it in my hand, I knew I made a good purchase. The 0470 has a great steel, a sleek look, but it really shines with the ergonomics. This feels far more comfortable for larger hands. Definitely a hit.

Atmos?

This is basically the Kershaw Atmos with far better materials.. price range is a bit questionable..you go from $30 US to $240 US ..I wonder if the cost is justified?

Could be perfect

I absolutely love the design, weight, and action on this knife. My only complaint is the grinding ZT did on the blade. At the tip on mine the Swedge ends a full 1/8 shorter on one side then the other towards the tip of the blade. For $240 I want things like that to be correct. Also, detent is a touch soft but still adequate. I feel like this is the case on all of my ZT knives. Almost read more perfect. Final summary for me would be a home run knife IF you get one that is ground properly.

A home run!

A very understated, yet very classy design. Fit and finish is flawless. Action is superb, as ZT is known for. Nice and light, compact knife for EDC.
