Diving Knives

The first recorded use of a diving knife was by the British Royal Navy in 1805. The early knives were made of steel and had a blunt tip to prevent accidental puncturing of the diver's suit. In 1837, the French inventor Auguste Denayrouze patented a diving knife with a sharpened edge and serrated teeth on the blade. This design was adopted by the British Navy in 1854, and has been used ever since.. Looking for Diving Knives? KnifeCritic is here to help you find the best Diving Knives for your needs.
