Knife is super sharp out of the bag. Easily cuts notwbook paper. Spine in good and sharp...should throw sparks easily. I am not a huge fan of the swedge, but a great knife for the price.

Wasn't sharp enough to cut paper clean out of the bag. Using a belt Sandler, various grits and compound I have a decent now. The tip of the blade is still not satisfactory, needs a better stabbing point but i can't take to much off the sides. Elmax is harder to sharpen than high carbon. To early to review edge retention but it's working well for now. I will have to make some handles read more for it, the paranoid is not going to work for me. The handle will need a choil to prevent slipping up on the cutting edge. It's the way it fits my hand but may not apply to some. Done a little wood work with it, feels capable once a set of grips are in place. With the paracord I can use four fingers, only 3 on the grip itself and the pinky grasps the cord. Ill update when it's been completed. Cheers
