Bug out review

The knife had everything I was looking for as soon as I discovered it came in green. The toned down color of the handle, as well as the blade, is a bonus because it's not too scary for those who are afraid. The blade is larger than my old EDC yet so lightweight. I carry it at work and backpacking. Its slim too, you don't know its there. Good blade steel holds an edge. The materials read more appear to be able to take abuse. I think they hit it out of the park with this one.

I've got 2-3 bigger Benchmades in my knife collection; I decided to check out the Bugout as an every day carry option. The knife is light, so light that I barely notice it's there until I need to cut something. S30V is paper-slicing sharp out of the box. Overall package is smaller than expected, but the knife still fits my average-sized hands nicely. AXIS lock performs as expected. read more Bottom line: If you want a small knife for EDC, especially if you favor the appendix-style carry or other concealable options, then this is the knife for you.

Great EDC. Blade shape cuts most routine things well. DLT service is perfect.

I own the previous version of the Benchmade Bugout and love that knife..........but this version of the Benchmade 535GRY-1 Bugout is just awesome. Every aspect of this knife is great. The axis lock, the size, and weight. But the most impressive is the new green color, the gray color of the blade, and the tan anodize on the standoffs, and thumb stud. Don't hesitate to buy this knife. read more Much better than the previous version.
