Form and function in the same package. The first variant in the Freek family brings together two incredibly durable materials, G10 and CPM-M4 steel. The gray and black layered G10 is milled to provide excellent grip and style, while the red G10 base layer and anodized aluminum barrel spacers bring an additional pop of color to the handles. The high-strength CPM-M4 blade is designed for hard use, pushing the limits of what the already tough Freek was meant to do. This knife is a true super Freek.

$200 paper weight...
So this knife is a little pricey not to be auto (opening) assist. Wish the website description mention its not auto (or maybe I missed it) but any who. So quality and feel of the knife exceeds exceptions and its a Benchmade so life everything. But, unfortunately I'll never carry this on the daily.
Smooth as greased baby shit
Great knife, great steel, great action. I would deff recommend it as a larger edc for people who care about their reputation.
My first Benchmade
This is my first Benchmade. It came out of the box not able to cut paper and was also very gritty. Took it apart and cleaned it. It was very dirty from factory. Runs smoother now. Blade was centered. For the $, I think Benchmade can do a better job sharpening the knife and should come much cleaner. I think I’ll stick with Spyderco.
Great experience
Love this blade! First experience with M4 steel and so far it's been a dream. This is going to be my work knife just because of how big and tough it is, plus the Axis lock works great for gloves. Benchmade quality is great as expected, but the T6 construction is annoying if I had to nit pick (almost stripped a screw taking it apart the first time). Shipping was super fast, no complaints… read more about my order. I look forward to buying from DLT again (hopefully sooner rather than later)!
