So this knife is a little pricey not to be auto (opening) assist. Wish the website description mention its not auto (or maybe I missed it) but any who. So quality and feel of the knife exceeds exceptions and its a Benchmade so life everything. But, unfortunately I'll never carry this on the daily.

My first Benchmade
This is my first Benchmade. It came out of the box not able to cut paper and was also very gritty. Took it apart and cleaned it. It was very dirty from factory. Runs smoother now. Blade was centered. For the $, I think Benchmade can do a better job sharpening the knife and should come much cleaner. I think I’ll stick with Spyderco.

Over build quality is perfect as benchmade usually is. No blade play, flawless locking, sturdy and firm. This model is a bit more smooth to flick open compared to the stiff super freek m4 model, but its rubber handles are a annoyance for the average edc person. Unless your actually hunting in the forest or camping the the wild, fishing, or doing something where your hands can get… read more wet or slippery, your probably better of getting the m4 version with g10 handles. But if you do fall into that catagory, you wont find a knife this size more comfortable and secure to hold then this with a blade quality like this. Its a tank, but it looks like fragile thing. And sometimes thats a good thing. All in all, im still proud to own this knife.

Love this blade! First experience with M4 steel and so far it's been a dream. This is going to be my work knife just because of how big and tough it is, plus the Axis lock works great for gloves. Benchmade quality is great as expected, but the T6 construction is annoying if I had to nit pick (almost stripped a screw taking it apart the first time). Another cool Benchmade
Very well built. Came sharp out of the box. Handles are grippy. Also like the coating , seems to hold up very well. If you like folders leaning toward the larger side , I think this one will do for you.
