Could have been better...
This one could have been a real winner: Really nice micarta scales, great blade steel, thumb studs, deep carry pocket clip and such a lightweight - whats not to like? The problem is the missing liners. The pivot rests (and not very tight) in the micarta scales. That causes considerable blade play sidewise and gives the user a very unsecure feeling about the stability of the blade,… read more esp. when compared to your normal rock steady 110 with liners and bolsters. Buck could have avoided this by using partial steel liners - like Benchmade does - around the pivot area. That would have made the blade operation more stable and would not have added much to the overall weight.
