This Green Beret knife features a 7" CPM S35-VN stainless steel blade with a black finish. It offers full tang construction with canvas Micarta handles. Item also includes Combat master sheath by Spec-Ops Brand. The Green Beret Knife is known to the U.S. Army Special Forces as "The Yarborough". This fixed blade knife was designed by renowned knife maker and designer Bill HARSey, with function and manufacturing input from Chris Reeve. Made in Boise, Idaho by Chris Reeve Knives, the Green Beret Knife is a knife that, just like the men for whom it was designed, is efficient, tough and uncompromising.

Very nice fixed blade from CRK! Fit and finish are perfect and the blade came with a beautiful mirror edge, razor sharp. The contouring on the handle is very nice and fills the hand to give a secure grip. Haven’t put the blade to hard use yet but the blade is very thick stock and I imagine can easily handle anything I throw at it. For me this is the perfect size fixed blade (5.5 inch) and it’s a very hard use design by William Harsey and Chris Reeve. The contours on the Micarta handle provide excellent grip and I prefer this non-serrated version for my use. I don’t have experience with KG Gun Kote so time will tell how durable it is. Overall it’s a great knife and I love how it feels in the hand. The nylon sheath is also nice with a Kydex liner.
