Amazing Value

I have hundreds of knives in my collection, and the only knives I will purchase from Chinese manufacturers come from WE or Civivi. I have button locks from US manufacturers that do not deploy as smooth as this one. What an outstanding value! This has been my daily EDC for the past month.

This is my first Nitro V; however, it is not very different in composition to my 14C28N knives… which is my absolute favorite low-cost steel. As an EDC, this steel is outstanding and easy to sharpen in the field. Button locks are hit or miss, even with high-end brands; however, my sample was perfectly on-par with more costly offerings. Deployment is outstanding, Weight and functionality read more is on-par with my favorite knife-maker… Spyderco

Nice little knife

Just received my Altus today with wood scales. It a little stiff and had a little button stick but it's breaking in nicely. This is my second Civivi knife and I'm pleased with the performance and quality of their build. You definitely get what you pay for. Several of the American companies better pick up their pace on design and quality if they want to get my business. Civivi had read more made me a believer that not all Chinese knives are junk. Hoping to find a WE knife in the future that catches my eye. I've got a Kizer on order now and hoping it's up to par with the Civivi knives.
See you guys at Blade Show Atlanta in June. Thanks, Blade Hq for the prompt delivery.

This is one of the first higher end knives I’ve gotten and I was not disappointed. Civivi really nailed it with the Altus. Insane build quality, superior blade and edge, and just fits great in the hand. Not only is it built well, but it just looks so clean and awesome, and just makes you feel cool holding it! The service at bladehq is also insane and received it very quickly and read more with no issues. Definitely will be buying from here again in the near future!

Almost perfect!

This is easily one of the best pocket knives ever. Good price for what you're getting. Its the perfect size for EDC. The action is very smooth. Just the slightest flick on the thumb studs sends the blade open. The knife feels assisted, but its not. The button is a tad stiff, but it falls nicely and doesn't really bounce. The knife cuts well and carries well. The micarta feels really read more nice to. Civivi nailed it with this knife. If you're on the fence about buying it, buy it. Its a great EDC knife.

I love this knife. It is comfortable in my hand, the damascus is beautiful. Mechanically everything works as it should, the blade is sharp and well centered on the knife and the button lock does exactly what it was designed to do. I would love to see this knife in an automatic option in the future.

I’m not normally into Civivi for my own personal knifes but thought I’d give this one a shot. Right out of the box perfect blade centering, a solid lockup with no horizontal or vertical blade play, an excellent thumb flick action and drops shut effortlessly via the button lock. Not crazy sharp but seems to have a decent edge for basic tasks. For me this is a great work from read more home sweatpants knife as it’s small, fairly light, fidgety and cheap enough where I don’t have to worry about it. Nice job Civivi
