Finch Runtly...The Pefect EDC/Utility Blade

Kalei Campbell

Just received the Ghost Green version and I'm impressed with the build quality to price point. The G10 scales are smooth to the touch-extremely pleasant to handle in and on the pocket. As far as the size is concern, its about the size of a medium Swiss Army knife. It's small, but with my medium size hands it has enough purchase that I feel I have complete control of the blade and read more should perform well in opening boxes, packages and envelops. Out-of-the-box its sharp...not razor sharp but sufficient. The weight (about 3.5 oz) is substantial but not to the point of the knife being to heavy or feeling unbalanced. If Finch is listening, maybe version 2.0 can have the steel liners skeletonized to bring the weight down to about 3 oz which I believe would be the sweet spot for this size blade. One more thing, this blade flips buttery smooth and deploys quickly due to the weight of the blade itself. I may have to get the yellow scales when version 2.0 comes out.
