The Lappland is an all-purpose camp knife of the Sami people. The Sami people use them in their daily life. It's a big knife with a stainless steel blade that is fairly thin for effective slicing. The handle is birch wood with brass fittings. Includes a traditional Scandinavian style leather sheath for secure storage and carry.Every Helle knife is made in their factory at Holmedal in western Norway. All Knives are cReated by highly skilled craftsmen who care deeply about their work. The process includes up to 45 different manual operations before the knife is finally inspected and approved.Each knife is unique! Due to the nature of organic material, variation in color and pattern will occur.
