Great fixed blade, stainless EDC by L.T.Wright

Albert Allen

Wanted a small fixed blade in stainless steel for ECD, preferrably with micarta handle and some built in guard so fingers wouldn't ride up on blade during heavy use and cut me. This checks all the boxes. The handle is a little longer than the blade and feels great, very secure 4 finger grip with extra space (medium hands). AEB-L may be an old stainless steel, but that just means read more it has stood the test of time. The blade is sharp, slices well, is corrosion resistant, and has excellent heat treatment and tempering - holds edge great. Only flaw was a bit of a sharp edge where the metal "guard" meets blade, but this was quickly fixed with a file so I didn't take any stars off. Over all, I really like this blade and have been carrying it a lot.

Great blade overall

The Daily Carry is one heck of a slicer, yet sturdy enough to do medium duty bushcraft tasks. My main use is going to be food and game prep in my pack. Overall would recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile hunting, small bushcraft, or edc.
