About Paragon PARA-XD Blood Line Dagger OTF Automatic Knife Smooth Black (3.6" Red)
This PARA-XD is part of the Blood Line series. It features a red coated blade and a smooth black handle. The S30V steel dagger blade is double-edged with plain edges.The Paragon PARA-XD is based on the ATKO 10 design. Just push the button and the single action automatic knife fires the blade out-the-front of the handle. Action is fast and lock-up is nice and tight. To retract the blade just press the button in and use the retracing lever to pull the blade back in. The sliding safety lock on the face of the handle ensures the blade stays closed or open if you please. These Asheville Steel Paragon PARA-XD Knives are proudly made in the USA.

Not so hot
The blade came sharp. The blade color is much nicer in person. It is a deep red that looks less flashy than the pictures. Now the bad. The push button is spongy and has to be depressed all the way passed flush to fire the blade. It is practically recessed the the handle and it does not consistently work. The retraction of the blade is smooth sometimes and other times it is not.… read more The handle looks cheap and feels cheap...like flea market knife cheap. For $200 I would look somewhere else.
