RC-3 w/ Jump-Proof MOLLE Sheath System After noting improvements offered to us by soldiers and cops in the field, we took the popular Ontario/RAT RAT-3, added 3/8" of handle length, a glass-breaking pommel, larger handle screws, then differentially heat-tReated the 1095 carbon steel and dressed up the Micarta slabs to build the RAT Cutlery RC-3. We then coupled this improved MODel with a sheath system (included with any RC-3 purchase) that can be carried in just about any configuration for the perfect, lightweight carry knife. The RC-3 features a substantial upgrade in overall fit and finish, as well as lined gray Micarta slab handles and a Super Tuff black textured powder coat on the steel. The partially serrated version features five equally spaced aggressive serrations that can be re-sharpened with a 3/8" diameter hone. These serrations are much more efficient than most and easily cut through canvas, seat belts or other flexible materials. All RC-3 Knives include the sheath system.
