So thin and light
This knife is so thin and light you could easily forget you're carrying it! Initially, I liked this knife, but I was on the fence about spending $125 for a manual open knife. Well, I'm really glad I purchased this baby because out of all the great blades I own I find myself going back to this one. It comes in at just a hair over an ounce, and is wafer thin. It literally disappears… read more in your pocket. The carbon fiber handle contrasted with the gold stainless steel blade looks amazing. The XR lock is the cherry on top! If you're in the market for a super thin, super light well built EDC knife I would check out the specs on this puppy.
Gold Feather with an edge!
This Ultra is absurdly lightweight and disappears in the pocket. The gold finish on the blade is beautiful and very well done.
I was anticipating more flex in the scales for how thin they are but it is very sturdy. Once you play with it for a bit the XR lock breaks in and you can pop it open and closed with ease.
A Great Start
The SOG Ultra XR is the first real knife I've ever purchased. The compact size and genuine style are what original drew me. But now that I have it, frankly I'm super impressed with the build.
