This knife is amazing. Yes it is slightly big for an office setting, however the ergos are amazing. I find myself choking up on this guy for most of my cutting tasks. I wear XL gloves for a size comparison. Using this same knife now for 16 months, I have put it through anything that I need it to. I have used the knife for food prep, cutting boxes, and about anything else you would read more do on a daily basis. I do not use the tool as a pry bar.

The BD1 steel choice is pretty decent as an everyday blade choice. I have not seen any rust or discoloring on the blade yet. Cutting citrus fruit has not been an issue.

The Manix 2 LW is my first Spyderco and has caused me to look at other models for a slightly smaller package. The Manix 2 LW and Victorinox Cadet are on my person every single day for the time being...

Always with me

I really really really reaaaally love this knife. I have like 20 spyderco knives almost all of them are manix. From the LW version to the XL but i find myself edc-ing this model more often than all the rest... its amazing, weights close tonothing holds an edge pretty well wire clip... my favorite

Plastic handles and pocket clip

I love the knife! It was always super sharp and comfortable just the plastic they use on the lightweight knives feel a little flimsy and the clip bends way to easy if caught on anything because it's a wire pocket clip but I love everything else about it

My first spyderco

I decided to buy this knife over other spyderco models. I do a lot of hiking, camping, and running around town and this knife is a jack of all trades. The ball bearing lock has a stronger spring than a benchmade axis lock but with some practice I've come to really enjoy it. Loving the pocket clip! Spyderco makes sturdy hardworking products and the Manix 2 rocks. Probably the sharpest read more knife I own. No problems with the BD1 steel. It's a larger knife so I mostly carry it on weekends.
