Addicting
This knife is just bad ass, Feels awesome in the hand, The flick to open is so addicting, Easy to close with out getting your fingers in the way of the blade, Blade is super sharp, materials feel quality, Hands down the best feeling knife I've ever held and used.
I will change the factory pocket clip to a deep, But thats a personal preference and is easy to swap. I'm super…

happy with this knife and highly recommend it for a tactical carry.
Awesome knife, but...
First of all, the knife I bought was a sprint run offered by another retailer so this review is specifically about design, ergos, fit, and finish. The Yojimbo is just plain cool. The look of this design just makes you feel like a bada$$! The U.S. Spyderco quality is always top-notch, and this knife is no exception. Perfect lockup, butter-smooth opening and drop shut closing. The… read more weight on the thicker blade in this knife gives it a better kick than a PM2. The Yojimbo does, however, use a slightly smaller Spydie hole than the PM2 so that has taken a little bit to get used to. If you have smaller hands, this probably won't be an issue. I wear a 2xl glove though so I have to be a bit more intentional when I'm deploying the blade. One other complaint was that the G-10 had hot spots ALL OVER! I'm pretty sure I would have had blisters ball over my hand had I not broke out a micro file and rounded over all the edges, especially around the compression lock. Overall, I absolutely do still recommend this knife, but I'd also recommend a willingness to go over it a bit yourself and make it comfortable for you.
Perfect EDC
I have the larger variant of this knife and love how large it is, while being light and thin in your pocket. I wasn’t sure if I would like this smaller version, but I find I like it even more! I love the blacked out look and finger grooves line up perfectly for my medium hand size. I can’t tell I’m wearing it, but it sure means business when you go to use it. One of the sharpest…

blades I’ve ever seen on a knife and easy to sharpen.
The build quality is solid. It’s made in CO USA and you can tell compared to spyderco’s Japanese builds. The action is butter smooth and the blade flips open easily.
Couldn’t be happier with this knife! Tons of value for the price.
Buy one or two!
Best edc
I use this blade everyday, its fast and easy to get when I need a quick response item. This is a awesome knife that fits easy into the pocket very quick to deploy. As a fugitive recovery agent this knife comes in handy alot better than the kabar tdi I have.
Watch that tip!
The Yojimbo 2 can be summarized in one word: wicked. The blade profile is wicked, and the ergonomics of the handle are wicked. I preferred the black coating over the satin because it's a lot more incognito. Just take care not to break the tip off as it is very fragile on this knife. Can this be used for EDC? Sure it can. Though I think it's a better knife for the role that Michael… read more Janich designed it for.
My very first Spyderco
I needed at least one Spyderco in my collection, so after researching I had my eyes set on the Yojimbo, but there was a dilemma: satin blade, or murdered out version? After seeing and playing with both at Blade HQ's countertops, I chose the blacked-out version. I've heard people say this is a big knife, but it's really not. I have below average size hands, and it fits perfectly.… read more Blade shape looks crazy, yet designed purposely; it's also perfectly centered and has no play. Blade is thick at the top, slicey at the bottom and extremely sharp. Action is glassy smooth, considering it only has bronze (brass?) washers. Compression lock is solid, and yes, fun to play with. G-10 handles are super grippy, just the way I like 'em. Pocket clip works, although I'd prefer a deeper carry; still, it's not enough to knock any stars off this review. Overall, quality and construction are top notch, and I know, I shouldn't expect anything less from Spyderco. But consider another great thing about this knife: there are a ton of aftermarket parts available for customizing, so you can really personalize it if that's what you desire. You'll love this thing for sure.
My favorite knife so far!
This is one if the nicest folders I've ever held and used, 110% recommend if you've got the money!
