Schrade Uncle Henry Knives

The Schrade Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade in Walden, New York. The company originally made tools and other products, but began manufacturing knives after the United States government awarded a contract to the company during World War I. Schrade continued to produce knives for the military during World War II and the Korean War. In 1946, the company was sold to Louis Martinazzi, who ran it until his death in 1974. His son, Albert, took over the business and ran it until 1994 when he sold it to Stanley Works. Stanley Works then sold the brand to Taylor Brands in 2004.. Looking for Schrade Uncle Henry Knives?
