Zombie Apocalypse 6" Stilleto
Alas, if only zombies had functioning vital organs, this knife would be perfect for zombie apocalypse self-defense in tv shows & movies. Since only removal of the zombie's entire head is effective, I recommend a broad bladed (leaf shaped?) blade like the Espada or Rajah if you expect Extreme Future Conditions; otherwise this Ti-Lite will suffice.
Until the zombie apocalypse,…

this Ti-Lite offers more value than the Espada and Rajah - it's currently less than $10 per inch of blade - and it is much slimmer and lighter.
In terms of quality, the handles are a combination of Zytel (or FRN?) over steel liners makes for an incredibly solid combination. The FRN has an almost imperceptible pebble texture. The single thumbstud with liner lock is easy to use despite the relatively large mass of the blade (compared to a 3", 3.25", 3.5" and 4.0" folder - also compared to other 6" folders, even the light Luzon, due to the narrow blade).
I like to carry this sometimes just for fun - to stand in awe of how compact and light it is in the pocket. It IS actually "pocketable"! I have yet to open cartons with it, however, since the blade length is offensive to public perception. It's truly "carry often, use seldom".
The one negative, as usual, is the tiny, ultratight, pocket clip. I prefer the large plastic clip on the Luzon. Ok. The sharp edges on the guards will probably take a toll on pockets.
Although this is definitely not your ordinary EDC/utility/carton opener, I wanted to get one out of fears it will be discontinued or - good grief no! - restricted. At under $60 current pricing with FRN scales, it is a steal.
Long
This is a long knife. I seems larger than what I expected, but I like big knives, so it worked out well. I wish it were easier to open. I was fooled (my fault) by the photos of the open knife. I assumed it was a flipper, but it is not. I am disappointed about that, but I know it is my fault for not paying more attention. I only mention it to save someone else the same issue. Otherwise,… read more this is a great overall knife if you like them big.
Decent knife
First off, if you want a ti-lite and money is an issue get the cheaper one it’s a decent knife, but if you have the money step up to the better models. These are cool knifes and one of my favorites no matter which one you choose.
Fun to carry..
But be careful who you open it around, it can scare some people. ;-)
Great knife
This knife locks up solid, comes sharp, and is very good quality. The liner lock takes a little getting use to since the knife is compact, but it's easy to do.
Inaccurately Listed!
The picture is not consistent to the knife I received! The handles do not look like the listing but of the cheaper model below this knife. RETURNED and very disappointed Bladehq could not resolve this issue for a monthly buyer
You Know You Want It
As a knife collector I love classic switchblades and I love big knives. It's hard to say no to this knife, especially at the price point. Not the world's most 'useful' knife, barring a zombie apocalypse, but it's awesome. The long handle, balance, and grip holes (?) make it a perfect choice for knife tricks if you get bored with balisongs. Did you see that it was AUS-8A? The zytel… read more handles are plasticky and cheap feeling but they get the job done. This is my favorite knife for flicking open- the blade is enormous and heavy and it kicks into your hand with a very satisfying 'ka-chak'. Oh, and you can wave the knife, too. Rest assured the moment Rule of Law goes away this monster of a knife won't be leaving my right pocket except in emergencies.
