Tank of a knife that looks good and (mostly) feels great

Bought a low-priced copper knife to see how it would patina and show after use. It definitely highlights snail trails, so I decided to let it live with keys in the pocket and create my own key-washed finish - it's looking great after a couple months and the patina is accenting nicely too.
Pros: well-designed to fit in the hand, sturdy construction frame lock

Cons: 8cr13mov read more steel (but it's kind of a budget knife), severe thread locker was used in construction so no serviceability, one REALLY hot spot for righties where chamferring is needed on the frame where the lock cutout meets the stainless steel side scale, a tank - but not a heavy use knife

Pretty damn good!

Picked this up about a month back. It's an excellent little guy. With a thick stock and a hollow grind, I know it won't fail with the power of a frame lock. I was able to flick it open in under a day. Useful for small slicey tasks and is photogenic as ever! Only two things off with it; the copper is slightly misaligned with the backspacer, and the designer's name is on the grind read more so it looks like an "oxnaes" design in some lights. It patinas rather quickly, and the first scratch is always the worst! It even smells like an old toolbox, a huge plus for me. Ergos are great, but I have caught myself on the edge of the blade once or twice. No big deal, I was stupid. Great knife, and I definitely recommend it for anybody who needs a small knife and loves copper! Voxnaes just knows how to make a small knife feel huge.
