Wow! IKBS!
I just got my Pilar Large. It was a pretty smooth operator right out of the box. But, I took it apart, as I do with all my new knives, just to clean up anything left over from the manufacturing process. I was expecting to find the standard nylon/teflon washers.
But, to my amazement I discovered this Pilar is outfitted with IKBS caged bearings! Very nice for a knife at this…

low cost. This, along with the over all utility of this knife, really makes it a great EDC.
Oh, and after looking at the blade closer, I see that it does have the IKBS markings on it.
Top Notch
This is a really wonderful knife. I'm not going to make any claims to expertise where such things are concerned, but I love this baby. I first purchased a regular Pilar and think it's great as well but it was a bit smaller than I had expected so why not a large Pilar to fill out the collection? This is a thing of beauty, finely crafted and in keeping with the level of excellence… read more I've come to expect from CRKT. What can I say, I love this fine blade and count it among my favorite EDC's.
Great knife
Love this knife! Great ergos that big finger choil makes this knife a four finger knife. very slicey. I can't wait to put a good edge on this knife. A bit heavy in pocket however i like it because I know it's definitely in pocket. plan on getting the carbon fiber version with D2 steel.
Amazing work knife
this knife has survived everything I've thrown at it. from opening boxes to cutting through wires at work this nice has preformed. The only downside I have with this knife is that the blade dulls fairly quickly (that's to be expected with the cheaper steal) but at the end of the day, it is super easy to re-sharpen for another day of hard work.
Solid
A great workhorse of a knife.
