Finally an EDC for The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
This is a really awesome collaboration between Spyderco and Sweeney Todd--wait, no that isn't right...
Panchenko is one of my favorite (newer-ish) knife designers. He has a very distinct aesthetic that works well even though sometimes you wouldn't think so by looking at it. This thing actually works as an EDC and while VG10 might not be the flavor of the week, it's one of…

my favorites because it's very predictable and very easy to maintain.
If you like something a bit off the beaten-path, give this "brave-man's shaver" a try.
The Best New Blade Style
I love the cleaver style blades and this knife has everything I could want in an EDC blade. Deep pocket, right hand, tip up carry is essential for a good knife for me and good looks help. This knife hits all four with ease.
Awesome head turner
The cleaver blade turned some heads when I pulled it out and started up some conversations about it but mine just doesn’t hold an edge that well so only cause of that it’s a 4 star from me
Awesome Cleaver
I have had this blade for almost 6 months now and I absolutely love it. I love how it looks like a straight razor. The blade stock on this knife is super thick and you really get this feeling that you could do any with this knife. I am normally a S35vn steel guy and VG-10 steel is typically a steel I usually don't really go for but I have had no issue with it. The grip is on the… read more small side for my hands but with the overall shape and how it contours in your hand you forget about the thiner scales. It does have a really good shape. Overall this is super slick box cutter and I always get some head turns when I do the spidey flick. Totally recommend adding this to the collection.
Good conversation piece
I have loved this design for year and finally saved enough to buy this knife. Whenever I bring it out people instantly want to know more about it, and aren't as scared of it as more traditional knifes.
Fantastic and Eye-catching!
This knife came sharp, stays sharp, and becomes sharp after I somehow dulled it after cutting boxes for what seemed like an entire day. I've carried this to work, running errands, going to church, and the clip on it is amazing. The high grind on the cleaver blade makes it an amazing slicer. The only reason I'm not giving it four stars is because if you're not around knife people… read more and you take it out, you get some weird looks. It's also a bigger knife, not the biggest but bigger so wearing it with slacks or a suit isn't as nice. But amazing blade. This knife and my Benchmade North Fork are my go to blades!
Awesomely different
This is a very fun and kool EDC, the blade shape is great and being able to really choke up and have control is been really helpful. It's easy to sharpen and it's completely different from what you normally see in pockets the only thing I'd change would be the lock I'd love this with a compretion lock!!!!
Unique Blade
Sweet, Unique EDC knife shaped like a cleaver.
Be-warned, it does rust or corrode fairly quickly unless you apply oil/lubricant on it. But other than that, it came sharp and it's an awesome EDC.
SF
Great knife
I really like this knife. It came razor sharp and it's just a beastly folder. It's a bit odd but the design is well thought out. My only complaint is the washers. For the money I think spyderco could've put some phosphorous bronze washers in instead of nylon. Other than that, it's a great knife
My new EDC
I picked this up a bit ago and let me just say that I am beyond impressed. Before I got this knife, I was carrying a Kershaw skyline as my EDC. Once I got this knife it instantly become my new EDC. It is comfortable in both the pocket and the hand. 5/5 definitely worth the money.
Lot more than I expected
One of the coolest knives I bought lately I on microtechs, Benchmades, spydercos, zts, etc... you name it I probably got it and this is one of the funnest knives I've gotten in a while just because of the unique blade... awesome little finger Lopper
A great one but an odd one.
I recently purchased this and it took a little bit to get used to. The handle is nice and gripy. Opening the blade room me a minute to get used to. I usually click open my Spydercos. After a couple times carrying it opening fully with my thumb became second nature. I recommend it to those who want something different. However if you want something familiar to what common folders… read more are, then you should think twice about purchasing this. To those who are interested in new and different style knives (as I am) this knife is for you. I love this thing now. 100% happy I made the call and purchased it.
