Worth a look
This knife is a powerhouse that flies under the radar. The design is a small but appreciated improvement for one-handed closing of a backlock knife without a finger choil (using my Endura for comparison). If Spyderco makes a version with a leaf shaped blade it will be a must buy. The hole in the pocket clip is for accessing the pivot screw if you carry your knife tip down.
Overall it's very good.
I like Wharncliffe / sheepfoot style blades and this one caught my eye. The shape of the handle affords a good, comfortable grip. And, the blade is easy to open and quite a solid piece of metal. It arrived shaving sharp. The only detractor for me is that the pocket clip has a hole in it for a lanyard. The problem is that the lanyard hole on this knife is not under the clip. I know… read more that Spyderco makes a different style of clip with no hole. Not sure why they didn't use it on this knife. It kind of gives it a cobbled together kind of look that is not aesthetically pleasing. A minor gripe, but a little irksome.
