The knife edge chipped within
The knife edge chipped within the first week of having it. The best positions for the clip are not in the best place to pull the knife out and open it without having to turn the knife in your hand. Moving the clip to the alternate positions causes the knife to sit very high in your pocket. One of the clip positions causes a ridged edge of the handle to abrasively rub your against… read more your hand if reaching in your pocket for something else. The back of the blade sticks so far out of the knife it takes up excessive space in your pocket. I guess I'll stick to Benchmade.

I am NOT a tactical folder guy, Slip joints are my jam. however! I just had a wild hair and bought one of these, because the para 2 is suppose to be the tactical that all others are judged by. and hey, while Im at it why not get a crazy steel right? This knife is too big for my tastes and uses (slip joint guy remember) but it is a really fun knife. i find myself just flipping it open, closed, open closed... its akin to one of those fidget things that are popular... only this is useful hahaha. If your on the fence, just buy a para 2, any one, and you will be happy I think

the slight touch of purple it is very nice, too, and I think it is not frightening. The slight transparency is very interesting.
The "blade action" is very smooth and the opening very comfortable! The "spydy hole" had very sharp edges, so I had to grind it down a bit, but nothing extensive.
In all: two great knives for my collection and very usable!

Great tool, shaving sharp right out of the box. Fit and finish both are spot on. Color not as translucent as others I've seen, but still a pretty shade of blue/purple. As for the s110v steel , have cut up a large number of cardboard boxes and it still holds a great edge.

I love my original paramilitary, but I'm a fan of the blue scales.
I haven't put it through enough work to gauge if the s110v wears noticeably better than the s30v, but it certainly picks up a crazy-sharp edge.

Avoided Spyderco for a long time, big mistake. This knife is my new EDC. Perfect size, blade shape,action, and wonderful handle feel.

ive bought a few spyderco folders in the past but i never found one i liked enough to keep and ended up selling them or gave them to friends. this one is different. The pm2 is just an amazing design and to top that off it comes is S110V steel!! This steel is beyond amazing. it holds it edge better then m390, cts-204p, cts-XHP, S35vn the list goes on and on.

PM2 is my favorite edc, but S30V steel turn out to be very prone to micro chipping and doesn't really hold razor edge.
This one is different, it is sharp out of box and stays sharp for a long time!
Also, great and incredibly fast service from DLT.
Paramil 2 sv110
Fit and finish is what we have come to expect from spyderco these days. There is a very small amount of side to side blade play , common on para 2' .Blade came shaving sharp 1 minute on the strop and it was scary sharp. Just an excellent knife, comfortable in hand and very versatile design.
