Great except for the clip
I use this knife everyday at work and its amazing. I only have one problem with it and its the clip. It gets caught on stuff and bends out easily. its also a pain to bend back. Other than that its an amazing knife and would recommend
Impressive
I bought this knife as a gift for my uncle because someone stole the original and when I got it I was very impressed with how great it was overall I’m going to buy one for myself soon. It’s small in a good way it’s light with a very solid lockup
EDC
First off its a great little knife, i have had it for about 6 years now and have had only problem with it the whole time. The problem was with the safety it somehow got stuck causing the blade to stay open. I took it apart and just took out the safety and it still works great.
Good Enough for me
While talking to a friend who just came back from deployment I asked him what knife he and his buddies carried. He pulled out this and said that CRKT is what most of the guys he was with carried because they were cheap and lasted. That’s good enough for me
Amazing Knife. No real problems
This knife does everything it was designed for. The CRKT M16-01KZ is a tiny knife that basically disappears in your pocket, but when you pull it out and hit the flipper, you have a respectably large knife. When you compare this knife to other knives with 3.125 inch blades, the M16-01KZ manages to appear small because of the tiny handle. Only problem I find is the lack of G-10 handles… read more (I would have liked that), milled out holes in the steel liners, and a better back spacer (or multiple back spacers).
Good Knife
This knife is well build, solid, and sharp. I also really like the flipper design, it makes deployment very fast. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars is the secondary lock. It works, and once you get used to it it's ok, I just don't feel like it's necessary for me personally.
Good edc
Got this knife along time ago and it was my edc for years. I need to send it in because the autolawk isn't working. But for what I paid and how much use I got out, it was well worth it. Ckrt has a no question asked warranty so I know they will fix or replace it.
