Nice but not perfect

This is my 4th Elementum and while the brass scales are nice and blade is centered, this action is not as snappy as my other Elementums. I will take apart, lube and adjust and see how it feels, but out of the box the action and lock-up are “chalky” and not as smooth as my other Civivi knives.

This close >< to being perfect

This knife has a nice form factor, as it fits in the hand in a way the clip actually enhances the otherwise flat finish on the scales without digging or being uncomfortable. The action is smooth out of the box, but a little stiff resulting in a few misfires...nothing a quick adjustment with a torx can't fix. The blade and steel frame finish is flawless, so much so the first thing read more I wanted to do was darken it, so instead I'll trade this version in for the already darkened one.

Great knife

An excellent knife to add to the collection. Mine came darker than the pictures show which i personally like. Lock up is rock solid, action is smooth and the blade is razor sharp. Blade HQ shipped it fast like always.

Simple and elegant

This is a simply beautiful, well functioning, well made knife. Came razor sharp and the action is superb.

First impression...Impressed!

Getting this Civivi in the mail was my first opportunity to actually put eyes on one of these knives. I had been admiring this model for quite sometime and when they released the brass and copper models, I was sold. I have not been disappointed...the blade is perfectly centered and the action is incredibly smooth. It is a little heavier than I expected but this is the first knife read more I have owned with brass scales so my expectations where probably a little miscalculated. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
