Ratings and Reviews
Crazy sharp and durable
Using this as my daily for about 2 months. Stays sharp for pretty long. Very sharp!!. I give this knife a 10/10
Great knife, terrible action
Love the size, the shape, & the knife serves its purpose...it cuts things. The action is incredibly sticky & stiff, though. I've had it for a few months now & it hasn't improved. I've heard Civivi knives have great, smooth action so this surprises/disappoints me.
Sweet knife
I love budget friendly knives that feel and look like an expensive knife. This is one of them!
Just under a 3" blade - perfect EDC.
Definitely a must have!
Small but impressive
You can read the size specs on a knife but you really can't tell much until you have it in your hand. When I got this I was surprised at how small this knife actually is, despite knowing its dimensions before hand. I thought that was going to be a bummer until I carried it for a bit. It's thin, light, and handy. The deployment is really smooth. It could be a little smoother but… read more it's got fantastic bang for the buck. I would love a version that's just slightly larger, but this is fantastic knife.
Simple, but great
Love the way it looks and how simple it is. Really sharp out of the box, and definitely worth the money
Excellent workmanship, great all-round package
Namaste. The raving reviews all over made me buy this. And I can't help but admit how well this knife is made. Simplistic design, great materials, good ergonomics, durable and edge-retaining steel. What more would anyone want? I personally think d2 steel is good but overkill for an EDC knife. But with these blades priced so close to their erstwhile inferiors, it is hard to ignore.… read more I am no knife collector but bought this one just for the praises it got. We will have to see now, how reliable it is in the long-term. Thanks BladeHQ for bringing it back to stock.
Nice knife for the price
I really like this knife for the small form factor and the sharpness of the blade. Clean design and great ergonomics for such a small knife. My only minor complaint is the my Civivi Brigand opens much easier but that is probably due to a heavier blade with more momentum when using the flipper.
The perfect EDC for the office
I needed a good knife that was a little less aggressive/tactical for EDC at the office. The replies of "Whoa there, Rambo!" when I would produce a blade at the request of "Does anyone have a knife?" got a bit tiresome. Enter the Elementum. CIVIVI has done an amazing job of combining function and form into one knife that is both "polite" while still being very useful. Very sharp… read more right out of the package (just ask my right thumb. LOL!), this blade is destined to find it's way into my pocket for a long time. The CIVIVI Elementum edged out (pardon the pun) a lot of higher priced knives in my new EDC search, and I can't imagine them being any better. Build quality, steel grade, edge retention, and extras (the packaging, etc. is amazing) put this over the top. The one "want" on this knife would have been for my OD handle to be micarta rather than G-10, but that's me just being a tad picky. Get this knife... it's sure to please.
They are Inconsistent
I have two of these Civivi Elementum knives, one in stonewashed copper and this one in green G-10. I liked the copper so much I purchased this G-10 version for a more casual everyday use case. The Elementums seem to be inconsistent. The copper one has a perfect detent and always deploys perfectly and snappily, even if I flub the deployment. The green G-10 knife is nowhere near as… read more good. It will deploy with a "push-button" action, with sufficient force, but refuses to deploy if "light-switched" unless a lot of wrist is employed. The detent feels weak and ill-defined compared to the copper version. I saw a similar observation made by another reviewer in regard to the blue G-10 Elementum. After the exceptional action of the copper one, this green G-10 Elementum was a disappointment. The copper is a 5-star but the poor detent/deployment makes this one a 3, unfortunately.
Great EDC Knife
If you're looking for an affordable knife that still has good quality, the Elementum should be an option. G-10 feels great. Deep carry clip is a life changer. Flipper is so smooth, my coworker thought it was assisted. It is a must have
Best EDC of 2019
Got high marks from the BladHQ staff. For 50 bucks I had to try it.
Fantastic knife for the money. My favorite things are, blade shape and grind, blade is razor-sharp, the flipper is smooth and the knife is very thin in the pocket. The clip is really nice too.
Best budget EDC!!
Everything about this knife is worth it from the price point. From the scales, down to the deep carry pocket clip. The G-10 handles feel great in the hand, and the overall handle length does too. I thought it might feel awkward holding it with my larger hands, but i was surprised how natural it felt. Also to note, the case it comes with is lined with a fleece like material to keep… read more any scuffs away and the soft hank surely wipes away any oils or residues you might encounter during your everyday lifestyle. 10/10 would purchase again!!
My New Favorite EDC
Just got my Elementum and I am so pleased. Its the perfect size for my lady hands, the handle has a slim profile, and the action is smooth. Perfect knife for pocket carry. I love it.
My favorite EDC
I first saw this knife reviewed by Taylor Martin on his YouTube channel. I have to agree with everything he said. I found the size to be just right for my hand. The flipper is super smooth and the look and design are super clean. My first D2 knife as well. Great investment.
Simple, sturdy and beautiful
I love the simplicity and looks of this knife. It is pretty light but feels very sturdy. The G-10 handles feel amazing. Love the OD green color too. Deep pocket clip is yet another bonus. I was in the market for a Bugout and tried this first and glad I did, it’s much more sturdy feeling for less then half the price! I love 3 inch blades as they seem to be the perfect fit for me.… read more Knife came perfectly centered. Action was a little stiff and after some oil seems to be much better. Worth every penny, the perfect EDC for me.
Great knive, great value
This was my second EDC knife purchase. After a little bit of research, I found this to be highly recommended and a great value knife. Very happy and barely noticeable in the pocket with the deep carry clip.
Favorite EDC Carry
Civivi is killing it and this is one of my favorites to carry right now. Love the action and love the slim profile. nothing else to say except i want another one lol
Great knife, even a better price
So I am a snob when it comes to D2 steel, I absolutely love it, some it better than others, and this knife falls into that category. Right out of the box (I mean very nice case) this thing flips right open and is smooth, has an edge that you can shave with and the fit and finish is that of a knife that costs four times as much, I see why it was the 2019 all around knife of the yea… read more @ Blade HQ. I will definitely be buying more CIVIVI knives if they are all of this quality.
I Love this Knife
the Fit and Finish is Flawless! It arrived super sharp. my only wish was a left handed pocket clip. The green color is wonderful. This is a great EDC gentlemen.
