The Civivi Elementum is one of my favorite knife models. I have 4 now including the new Fixed models and each one is as practical to carry and smooth to open as the last.

Great knife

I just recived mine and I love it. Its the perfect size for my hands, it has good weight and the copper looks amazing. I cant wait to use this at work. Its smooth and the blade just snaps into place when deploying. Very satisfying to open. My only complaint is its lack of a thumb stud. I ordered a Kwik thumb stud for it, so when that comes it will be even more amazing.

Pretty knife with one major flaw.

This knife was amazing when it first arrived. Civivi makes phenomenal blades and does a great job with the packaging and a great-looking knife. The blade is very sharp and the knife is good in the hand and a great EDC. Weight is a minor issue although I personally like a heavier knife so I got the copper which is perfect. The MAJOR problem with this knife is how easily it rusts. read more With just 2 days of carrying it in my pocket and being exposed to no water besides humidity the blade already has surface rust across the entire blade. Again, no exposure to water, just a humid day in my pocket. I was very disappointed to see this on this beautiful knife. If you live in a wet environment or even a moderately humid environment id be hesitant to carry this daily outside.

A Beautiful Slicey Boat Anchor

This knife looks great, performs great, and is a fantastic blade if you like to lift weights. I ended up reselling this for the green micarta version, but If weight isn't factor, you will be blown away by this Elementum with Copper.

An excellent dress knife, don't like the factory patina

As the title says. It's a beautiful, perfectly functional knife legal in most places. My one qualm is the factory patina, I prefer to patina myself, but that doesn't mean it's not beautiful as-is. Hefty, but if you bought this you knew what you were getting into. Don't wear with gym shorts unless you have some underwear you really want the general public to see.

A Thing Of Beauty

Oh, this one I really like. What a thing of beauty. An excellent EDC, finely crafted and aesthetically pleasing in the bargain, and what a bargain it is. In reviewing other knives I prefaced my comments by saying I make no claim to expertise so I won't delve into the technical details that so many others here have an in depth knowledge of, but I'm a quick study and I know a good, read more solid knife when I see or handle one. This thing is smooth, and solid and the craftsmanship is top notch. Buy one and enjoy!

Simple, Solid & Good

Good lockup, centered blade, relatively smooth action, and sharp out of the box. Carries well in the pocket, although the copper scales do add a bit of weight. Copper looks great, though. I don't have any issue carrying this as an EDC as I usually wear jeans, but the weight may be an issue for folks wearing lighter shorts/pants.

Hard to do much better for the price, but read more easy to do worse. Easily recommended.

This is a simply beautiful, well functioning, well made knife. Came razor sharp and the action is superb.

Awesome EDC

This knife is fantastic. Carry's very small in the pocket. I love the copper scales. Adds just the right amount of weight to the knife. I have a Proper and Para 2 with copper scales. I'm a fan. The blade is super sharp and slices very well. This is just a terrific knife for the price. I can't wait to see what else Civivi comes out with.

Amazing EDC knife

I have been looking for some time for "something new" to carry, and had heard and seen all the great reviews about the Elementum... then BladeHQ announced the release of the copper version (I'm kind of a junkie for copper), and I was in.
Classy. Smooth. Right-sized. Super high quality fit, finish and feel. Some may "knock" it for being D2, but personally, I think D2 is a great read more steel for EDC; strong, forgiving, easy to edge and maintain.
I love this blade, and look forward to it living in my pocket for years to come.

Solid collection piece

My first Elementum left me a little flat. The action was not as good as most Civivis, the blade was not as sharp, and the wood scales didn't look as good as in the pictures.

This copper-scaled Elementum remedies all of these issues. It's still not a near-drop-shut action like on a Baklash, but neither does it feel slow. The blade has a proper shaving edge out of the box, read more and the scales look just awesome. They are darker than pictured, but still really nice. The stonewash on the blade is also a nice touch, and I wish Civivi would offer it on more of their knives.

Those copper scales add a lot of weight, and this knife is heavier than I would want for an EDC. But it definitely deserves a spot in the rotation, and I'm glad I got one.

The hype is real

So after seeing all the buzz about this knife, right about the time these were dropping, I had to get my hands on one. The packaging is great, it comes with a well made pouch & a cleaning cloth. The fit and finish was on point and the blade comes very sharp. The copper is very pretty to look at. It gives the knife a weighty feel that I really dig. This knife is a good choice, if read more you are thinking about it, go for it. You will be happy you did.

Best edc knife ever

I've been looking for a new idc knife that is classy looking but functional. this is by far better than anything I've ever bought. I've had some very expensive knives and this is right on par with them. buying this knife saved me an order to flytanium with it already being copper scales. and in the words of Zac from knife banter "I love me some D2". great steel easy to sharpen adding read more to the value of the knife. I highly recommend this knife or any of the varients.
