A sure enough is a snazzy OTF auto. However when I first got it I couldn't resist hitting it with a few drops of oil. That seemed to bog down the blade; it lost its JUMP! It would'nt come out or only a couple inches out. So I blow-dried the oil out that I had put in. I believe it was Blue Lube. Afterwards it got back to working fine. but NEVER herad back from them, which has left me a bit dubious about the company's standards and their attention to customer service. I figure a knife that costs this much should shoot out like a gun-shot...EVERY TIME!
To be fair---I did call/email? Microtech (I keep thinking it was Ultra tech but have stored the knife in a vault and don't access it much. Too little time) at the height of the COVID SCARE so maybe there was noone in their offices. But still, I never heard back from them. Maybe I'll try again today.
All-in-all a pretty sweet OTF when it's working correctly. One last issue: The push button is quite hard to push forward. Another reason for the early oiling.
